Plaka Souvlaki: Authentic Greek Cuisine in Hoboken

An absolutely amazing experience!!!! They are open late on the weekend and the perfect stop after the bar. The food was delicious- the kabobs and fries with feta cheese hit just the spot. Anthony's service was fast and he made our experience so pleasant. We came in with a large group and we were served in maybe 10 minutes max for a group of 7. We will definitely be coming back!!!

we had a custom platter - chicken yeero, lemon fries, avocado tzatziki, quinoa lentil. The portion size was great, and the food was fulfilling and tasteful. Atmosphere was calm and peaceful. Would definitely return.

This place is BYOB! Although they didn’t have wine glasses and they almost couldn’t find the wine opener. Great place to pick up some Greek food at night. It’s located right by the path and Hoboken light rail. Dishes we chose had a very appetizing taste to them, they used fresh ingredients and was seasoned pretty well. The pita bread could have been a little better but nonetheless delicious.

What a nice place , the food is delicious, the employees are very pleasant. I am not from here just arrived from Boston very hungry looking for a place to eat at almost 10:00 pm and luckily my son took us to TROS after having dinner there himself earlier . It will be my favorite place to eat every time I visit my son in the future .Thank you guys for being so nice and polite .Bye the way I love the take out bag . It’s adorable

The location is medium-sized with about 6 tables. There’s no table service—you order at the front like a fast food spot, but with a Greek style. The atmosphere felt great. It was clean, and the tables and floor were not sticky at all. The employees were great. This was our first time at a Greek restaurant, and they guided us through their most popular items—a platter and a wrap. The food was great, full of flavor. Felt like we need tk besited another one of their locations. Parking was tough. It’s hard to find street spots, and nearby lots are expensive—many of them want to charge the full day even if you’re only staying a few hours.

The taste is really good. Especially the lamb is amazing. The environment IA clean. Although they have many roast stuff cooked, you can hardly smell anything unpleasant inside. Recommended.

Very flavorful chicken souvlaki...the best we've had. Perfectly dressed & fresh greek salad with a generous portion of feta cheese with a nicely balanced tangy saltiness. Both came with very tasty pita bread, perfectly toasted/grilled with a nice chewy texture. Reasonable prices & convenient location near Hoboken Path & light rail. Warm service & cute indoor seating area. It has become our go-to place in the neighborhood. Highly recommend.
